Register for the run online for a $15 donation fee (plus processing fees).

Hi XXXXX,
Your XXXXX event is nearly complete and ready to start accepting registration donations! The last thing we need before we can take it "LIVE" is for you to accept this invitation to be the event OWNER by following the link below and then filling out the financial information so we know where to send the funds once they come in.
You have the option of receiving direct deposits into a bank account as orders come in, or receiving a physical check once the event is complete. Most people prefer the direct deposit option which goes through our payment processor Stripe.
If you choose Stripe, you will need to create a Stripe account and enter your organization's information, including the bank and routing #'s of your account so that Stripe knows where to send the funds.
If you choose to receive one physical check after the event, then you will need to have your organization's general information (address &, etc) as well as it's TIN or EIN for tax purposes.
Follow the link below to accept OWNER permissions and then choose one of the above payout options.
I'm also going to send over a separate email so you have my contact information with additional information about the next steps and using our software if you'd like to make changes to your event.

The only thing left for you to do is to add the event and above link to your organization's website (under your "events" area if you have one) and to share the event info and link with your "prior/existing supporters" email list.

These 2 final steps are critical to the success of your fundraising through #eventname#. Right now people are isolated and desperate to feel like they are a part of something bigger and making a difference for a cause they believe in. Your existing donors are looking for a reason to help you, they just don't know that THIS option exists yet, so YOU NEED TO TELL THEM!
By completing the 2 steps above you can ensure all your supporters know about this fun and impactful option to support your cause and fuel your mission.

07: Checklist after event has been created
- have RACES been edited and set to "virtual race" with appropriate time and dates?
- Have RESULTS been set to VISIBLE and OFFICIAL?
- - Double-check dates for virtual run in EMAIL RECEIPT and on EVENT DETAILS page
- Have REG TYPES been edited and RSS swag turned on, if applicable?
- Are donations turned ON and all charity information created?
- Has location been updated?

Your event is still set to TEST MODE so you can now go through the entire registration process as your participants/donors will. Register for any of your virtual race divisions and make sure that everything from start to finish is the way you'd like to see it. Here's the URL to complete a test registration:
Two things to note:
1) That is the TEST REGISTRATION URL which is hidden while your event is in TEST MODE. Once we take the event live, there will be a big REGISTER NOW button on your event details page. This will be the page that you direct your contacts, followers and past donors to:
2) Any test registrations that you place here will be wiped out once we go live. So if you do plan on running your own race and making a donation, you'll need to re-register and do that after we take the event live
3) When you get to the payment page, we provide you with the test credit card to complete your transaction. It's 4111 1111 1111 1111 and any expiration date and any CVV code
